Founded in 1928, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from varied disciplines who work toward the WEF vision of preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. The WEF network includes more than 100,000 water quality professionals from 77 Member Associations in 31 countries. WEAO is a member association of the WEF.

The Ontario Pollution Control Equipment Association (OPCEA) is comprised of over 140 firms engaged in the manufacture and/or distribution of environmental and related equipment in Ontario. This site lists all the OPCEA members as well as the products, equipment and services provided by each company.

The Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) is a non-profit scientific and educational association dedicated to the delivery of safe, clean drinking water for people everywhere. The OWWA is a section of the larger American Water Works Association, a non-profit technical organization that was founded in 1881 and now consists of more than 54 000 members throughout the world.

THE SELECT SOCIETY OF SANITARY SLUDGE SHOVELERS (5S) was formed to provide a means of recognizing those who have contributed freely of their time and talents to the growth, well being and success of their individual Associations.
